Arguably the most beautiful lake in the world, Moraine Lake is a stunning glacier fed lake nestled below the Valley of the Ten Peaks in Banff National Park, Alberta. In mid-day sun, the water emits a dazzling fluorescent-blue glow that is one of the most amazing sights to simply watch and ponder at. This was my intention for this 4K UHD Nature Relaxation™ film - to capture the majestic blue waters of Moraine Lake and present it in a way that also does justice to the incredible backdrop upon which the iconic mountain lake rests - something that is not an easy task due to the size of the Ten Peaks. This version features soft ambient music Cynic Project recordings by Alex Smith and his wife Julie (vocals) paired with the subtle sounds of the lake. A nature-sounds-only version is coming next!
MORE INFO:
Filmed at Moraine Lake in Banff National Park; there are also a few mixed scenes of the surrounding lakes like Lake Louise, Bow Lake and Peyto Lake in 4K UHD. There are a few upscaled HD 1080p shots mixed in from an earlier trip I took there in which I climbed the Tower of Babel, which is the flat-topped spire sitting at the base of Moraine Lake.
